Yes, you should definitely have the "Share" button when the video is open and
from there you can save it to the camera roll, you can save it to Dropbox if
you use it, you can email it to yourself etc.

Are you able to open the video from the message? If so, after the video is
open, see if you can find a Share button. Activate that. Then see if you cn
find an option to save the video.
