Re: My SE 2020 Experience so far
No it is not. Go into settings and look for the music setting, the EQ is in there. I forget if music is a setting on its own, or if you have to go into accessibility first before you find the music tab. Well, I think that the very fact we have the equalizer option in the music settings, not to mention better and better headsets, allows for a really nice music listening experience. Thanks, Richard, for letting me know about them, there are more now than there were the last time I checked. I downloaded one that said it works with the music I already had on my phone, played with it some and deleted it for now, being that it had a lot of unlabeled buttons and I didn't seem to be able to get it to do any equalizing. There are a ton of equalizer apps in the app store. I have no idea how accessible any of them are. Most are subscription based from my brie exploration. Perhaps you could check them out and see if they offer what you want. I'm quite happy with the sound quality, so I'm not interested; but I was curious since you mentioned the availability in Android. The only way to really get an idea is to start music playing, and go to the settings, music, EQ, and turn on a setting listen for a while, and try another setting. There are quite a few options in there. Personally, to my ears, no EQ sounds the best overall; though I could see adjusting for certain styles of music where it might help. But this is such a subjective area, its hard to say one setting is better than another. When I try to activate the EQ button it won't turn on. I tried choosing the bass booster as well, but no go. Does anyone know why my EQ won't activate? Thanks much. Take care. Mike.
