That was my assumption from the start. I would also assume that KNFB Reader
does it's own digital compensation for a bit of jitter or it may use the
digital image stabilization which any iPhone from the 5 on up has.

It depends on what you use the optical stabelization for. OS is about better
control on your photos, and yes, it does make a big different if we are talking
in photographic term. But in terms of OCR, it might not matter so much.
