Hi, I believe the issue is that you are probably running IOS 5.1.1 and the HIMS products don't work with it. They worked with a slightly earlier version and they work with iOS 6 but you can't run iOS 6 on a 3rd generation Touch.

I've also tried resetting both devices, and still no sighting of the Edge by the Touch. What should I try next?
