Hi Kimber, This is by now a documented and confirmed bug in iOS 7 and has to do with that entire hypersensitivity of the touch screen. The only thing you can do and it may or may not help a bit is to go to Accessibility Settings and turn on Reduced Motion which is towards the bottom of the main

Thanks Sieghard, I guess in the avalanch of email I missed that others were having this problem, and I agree that it is one of the more annoying glitches in the new ios. I will definitely send an email to apple accessibility and add my voice to the chorus requesting a quick fix. Thanks again
