free and subscription versions and from what I can tell, the free version is
pretty powerful. The files it creates are saved in txt format so you would be
able to access them easily with computers and other

Mac Journal is good and works well on my iPad and iPhone. You can also
sync across devices but only apple devices so no windows access. But
if the windows access is not a deal breaker for you, I highly
recommend this app.

journaling and I believe was $5.99. I bought it and did a test entry, but

I use an app called Lumen Trails. It has its own journal, but you can create
your own categories. A journal is already included as one of the main ones. I
love this app, and it is very aessible withthe VoiceOver.
