The BBC has it's own and very accessible news app in the store; and world
news is one of its threads, amongst others of course. A good read and free
if I remember right.

Just do a search for BBC in the app store. BBC has a dedicated app for free and
accessible. You can listen to the stream as well as read wonderful stuff BBC
has to offer.
