Hi alex,
First, check your final page of apps to see if apps are still being downloaded.
If it seems like all of your apps are there, try restarting your phone, and
then try updating again.

backup, which as far as I can tell has completed successfully. However now I
want to upgrade to the latest iOS. When I try to do this, I’m told the restore

Hi Donald,
If you store your messages in iCloud, you will get them back after you sign
into iCloud even if you set your phone up as new. If you want your purchased
apps, though, you'll need to do a full restore.

Hello,
I am going to be upgrading from iPhone 8 to iPhone 11pro very soon,
but when I make the move I really only want my messages and contacts
and my purchased apps to be restored from my backup (either
cloud-based or pc-based).
Can I do a selective restore or is it all or nothing?
