Hey Reggie, Navigate to Settings, Accessibility, VoiceOver, typing and down to the bottom of the screen to Keyboard interaction time. Double tap on that and you should be able to increase or decrease the time it takes for the interaction to occur. I hope this helps. I do exactly what Ed apparently does, I set it to 1 second which isn't long enough to be bothersome when I want to use it but typically long enough so you don't invoke it accidently too often. Hello, You can toggle on/off the alternate characters in Settings, General and navigate to keyboard. There should be an option to do so in the main keyboard settings screen. I hope this helps. Hello, If you turn up the time thresh-hold of when slide to type activates you can utilize it to type longer words much quicker. You can turn the thresh-hold up in Settings, Accessibility, VoiceOver, typing and navigate to the bottom of this menu to adjust the setting thresh-hold. I use a combination of slide to type and touch typing. You can also add the option to your rotor and can quickly toggle it on/off with the VO rotor.
