Hi, in settings and fetch new data, make sure that push and fetch are all
disabled. In the fetch new data section, double tap advance and make sure that
all mail accounts are set to manual.

Re: Still trouble with email

I've found another problem with mail on the iphone. I'm not sure if this has
been brought up on the list because I'm behind on email. when I delete a
nessage, I occationally get a nessage that the system is nable to move the
message to the trash folder. I made suure no other computers was getting mail,
and that didn't solve the problem. any thoughts on this?

Re: Still trouble with email Can not delete mail

2012-09-30 Thread James Mannion
Sounds like you may want to go to the Apple store if you can or call
Apple care if you have that and only that option and ask them what in
your configuration is causing your mail to do what it is doing. There
should be some setting or detail or characteristic of your provider
that is causing it.

Still trouble with email

2012-09-27 Thread Jen Colley
Hi,
I have an iPod touch 4 and an iPhone 4 S.
Both have push turned off and check for mail manually. On the iPod touch it
does what it is supposed to do but my iPhone still checks for email.
What could be the reason for this and how do I fix it?

2012-09-27 Thread Ng Choon Hwee
Hi, in settings and fetch new data, make sure that push and fetch are all
disabled. In the fetch new data section, double tap advance and make sure that
all mail accounts are set to manual.
