Richard, I may well be wrong here but I think Screen Recognition can only be enabled within apps and not on any of the screens containing apps if you see what I mean. One thing I would like to see is Actions added to the verbosity settings in Applications so that for example when reading an e-mail message one could suppress the announcement of “actions available’ after each line. I have checked all settings on his iPhone and he has it set up identically to mine. So I don’t know what’s going on but I’ll have another look later.
