Yeah, it got them to clarify their position alright. They are still going ahead
with the transition, but delaying it’s execution by a couple of weeks. Also,
they still have not shared anything on their new account activity API. So, it
is likely that all third party twitter clients will be
Thanks for the info, Cristobal. I just looked at the article, and Twitter is
now saying they won't remove the current funcitonality until 90 days after the
new APIs come out of beta. So it sounds like the article got them to clarify
their position, which is great.

This . . . would really suck.
After totally killing Twitter for Mac, Twitter’s next move appears to be
taking some seriously useful features out of third-party Twitter clients:
push
notifications and streaming. Losing the ability to receive notifications and
update timelines as new tweets
I keep both twitter and twitterific apps on my Iphone 6plus. I use vo. When I
try and copose a tweet on twitteriffic, the tweet button is grayed out, and it
only lets me save the tweet as a draft.
On the native twitter, it keeps asking me to authorize twitter to access my
photos even though

How can I get voiceover to focus on each new tweet when it appends at the top

Hi.
You have to go in to the settings and sign in to your instapaper account first,
then you can double tap and hold.

Hi everyone. I'm trying to use my amazon bluetooth keyboard with twitteriffic.
When I'm in the time line and I post a reply it takes me to the top of the
timeline after replying. is there a keystroke I type to get back to my original
tweet? Is there a list of keyboard shortcuts to use
Hi all. Here's what I get when I do a search on the knowledge base for
twitteriffic.
The following list shows keyboard commands that can be used while
Twitterrific is active. The most common ones can also be seen from the
application's various pull-down menus

Thanks Jonathan. I was beginning to wonder about that myself wondering
if you could only do those shortcuts on the mac. Both tweetlist and
twitteriffic have thier advantages and disadvantages for sure. I'll
have to play around some more with them.

Thanks, Jonathan. I must have my twitter notifications set wrong, because I'm

Hi Jonathan,
Yes, I meant I wasn't getting notifications from the official twitter app. I
now have it open and have double checked the settings in notification center,
which seem to be what I want, and push is turned on. But thus far, I'm not
hearing anything.

Well, I had the app in the switcher but the screen was locked or I was in other
apps, such as Itunes for quite some time this afternoon, and I didn't get any
notifications, but when I went back to the app, there were a few new tweets. So
it is a mystery.

Hi Mary, just to reiterate my previous point, I highly recommend
trying out IMPlus Pro if you don't mind spending the cash. You
can be notified for every single tweet in your timeline, only
nearby tweets, only direct messages or mentions, only tweets from
specific people... anything you can
Ok, Jonathan, that cleared it up. I was hoping to get notified on tweets; I'm
not following that many. But I do certainly see where it wouldn't be practical
if one were following hundreds. Then again, how would you keep up if you were
following that many?

Thanks, Grant. It sounds like this im client might be what I am after. I don't
do anything in the way of IMing. But it sounds like it would be good for what
I'm looking for with twitter.

Jonathan, I'm curious as to which twitter app you find easier to use when
