Hi Eleanor,
The easiest thing would be to update the Mini 3 to iOS 9.2 and then do another
iCloud backup. Then restore the new iPad from the Mini 3 backup.

Hi Eleanor,
You don't need to reset the Mini 3. Go to Settings/General/Software Update, and
follow the prompts to update to iOS 9.2. Then go to Settings/iCloud/Backup and
back up your iPad. Then you can restore the new iPad from that backup.

Hi Eleanor,
Sorry, I misunderstood. On the 4, choose Erase All Content and Settings. Then
go through the setup process again and restore from the Mini 3 backup.

Hi
The Mini 3 was already running IOS 9.2 - it was my new Mini 4 that, to my

have upgraded the Mini 4 to 9.2?

Hi all
Am really hoping someone might be able to help me here. I collected my new IPad
Mini 4 today and have been trying to set it up all evening, but it's not gone
without its hitches.
My main concern has been/is ensuring that all my data came across successfully
from my IPad Mini 3 (which
Hi. Thanks for that information. So, having just looked under settings on the
IPad, would the reset I need be the one that says "reset network settings", or
the one that says "erase all"?
