And, have you made sure all the other apps are closed out of the app switcher
and rebooted the phone?

I would say it is not so busy, four or five appointments a day. What is
interesting in couple of months ago this was never an issue

If you use the Outlook app for an Exchange email account, have you noticed that
in the last few updates of the app, each time you go to the calendar the app
freezes for a very long time before Voiceover become usable again?
