I am working from memory, so you may have to play around with the screens a little. Obviously, start by double-tapping the Phone app. Double-tap the Voicemail tab at the bottom of the screen. Double-tap the Edit button in the upper right corner of the screen. You will probably find a lot of voicemail messages you have already listened to. Swipe down with 1 finger on voicemail messages from people that you want to delete. The first time I did this, I did not find a Delete option. But after I double-tapped on “More Info” and then hit “back” or “previous screen”, then the “Delete” option showed up when I swiped down on the Voicemail. Unfortunately, you have to swipe down a couple of times on each message to get the delete option. Go through your old voicemails and delete the ones you no longer need to keep. After you finish, you will find a button for “Deleted Voicemails” at the bottom of the list. Double-tap this button. Then scroll to the end of the list of deleted voicemails. Double-tap the “clear all deleted voicemails” button at the bottom of the list. Double-tap the confirmation button. Now you have freed up space for new voicemail messages. Good luck.
