You might recall sometime back when I asked about changing the AT&T Mobile Share plan, either with the My AT&T app, or online. And, finally, with the help of google, I found one actually needed to call AT&T to make such changes. However, now, it appears one is able to change their Mobile Share plan on their own, even with the app. Here is the link giving this information, followed by the important text from that site:

Found a rate plan that suits you better? You can change your FamilyTalk or Individual rate planėŸ¯n our full site (att.com/myatt) from a tablet or PC, or compare and change your existing Mobile Share plan to an AT&T Mobile Share Value plan using our mobile site (m.att.com/myatt).

You can change your plan anytime, without extending your contract.

Some changes require assistance. Call us at 800.331.0500 or 611 from your AT&T wireless device, or visit an AT&T store to do any of the following:


. Add or switch to a Mobile Share Data only plan.
. Remove a line from your account.

Important Note Once you change from an existing Mobile Share plan to Mobile Share Value, you won't be able to revert to your old plan online.


You can compare and change your Mobile Share rate plan to a Mobile Share Value plan using the latest version of the myAT&T app or from our mobile site (m.att.com/myatt). Visit your device app store to download or update the app.

1. To compare and change your Mobile Share rate plan, log in to your account using the myAT&T app or mobile site (m.att.com/myatt). Don't have a myAT&T login? Visit our full site (att.com/myatt) from a tablet or PC and select Register today! 2. If you have an AT&T Access ID with multiple linked accounts, select your Wireless account.
3.  Select the menu  button, and then select My plan & services.
4. If there's more than one device on your account, select any device within the Mobile Share group that you'd like to change. 5. Select My rate plan, and then select the Change rate plan link. 6. Select the new rate plan you'd like to compare. Mobile Share Value plans are noted with an asterisk. We display the best plan option for the selected data amount based on your current devices and contract status. To continue changing your plan, select Proceed with selected rate plan. 7. Review your changes, and then select Proceed with selected rate plan. 8. Select an Effective Date, and then select Proceed with selected date. 9. Review your changes. Read the Terms & Conditions and check the box to accept, and then select Submit.



Manage your messaging, data, international, and other AT&T services You can manage your messaging, data, international, and other AT&T services using the latest version of the myAT&T app or from our mobile site (m.att.com/myatt). Visit your device app store to download or update the app.

FamilyTalk customers can add services to an individual device or add shared services, which will be applied to all wireless devices in the FamilyTalk Group.


1. To add, change, or remove AT&T services, log in to your account using the myAT&T app or mobile site (m.att.com/myatt). Don't have a myAT&T login? Visit our full site (att.com/myatt) from a tablet or PC and select Register today! 2. If you have an AT&T Access ID with multiple linked accounts, select your Wireless account.
3.  Select the menu  button, and then select My plan & services.
4. If there's more than one device on your account, select the device you want to manage.
5.  Do any of the following:
 . To view your current rate plan, select My rate plan.
. To add or change a service, select the service type, and then select the service you want. Read the Terms & Conditions, and then select Add. Follow the prompts to confirm your changes. . To remove a service, select My rate plan, select the service you want to remove, and then select Remove. Follow the prompts to confirm your changes.





Having trouble adding or changing your rate plan or AT&T services? You may not be able to change your rate plan or services from myAT&T mobile, or have the option to backdate, postdate, or make your change effective on today's date for several reasons.
