hi, Lois, if you want to remove a song from your music app, double tap on to
the song it's self, you really don't have to play. You can pause it, then in
the lower right corner of the phone is a more button. Double tap on the more
button, then flick to the option that says remove. Under removed

I have been trying to delete some songs from my IPhone 7. There are some that
are double because they are on two albums.
I swipe up and double tap delete, but when I check, they are still there. I am
in songs when I try this. Is there another place I should be when I try.
