When I start tweetlist or come back to it later, I'm usually positioned
way down the list of tweets near the last one I've read.
If I want to immediately go to the latest one, is there a gesture or
comand I can use to do this as opposed to scrolling through every page
of tweets?

Try the usual top of screen command - touch the status bar and then double-tap.
I'm pretty sure that will work.

Doing a single finger double tap with VO focus in the status bar will take you
to the top of a list view. This will work in Tweet list and any other list view.

is, then swipe once to the right and you will be at the very top of the
