RE: home button question

Maybe. On mine, there is a choice for that shortcut, with VoiceOver being one.

When you get a new phone or one which has been reset to factory settings, Siri
is not available until you finish the setup process. However with all the newer
IPhones, triple press of the home button will start voiceover.
This is the default for IPhone. If I am not mistaken, on the IPhone X you press
the power button three times to start voiceover.

I’m sure that triple tap thing has to be set up just like it did with the home
button. So if it hasn’t been set up, it’s not gonna work. But you can tell Siri
to turn on voiceover.

RE: home button question

2018-09-14 Thread pdllogan77
The accessibility shortcut might not be set for voice over .. you can always
ask Siri to turn on voice over .. hold down the side button (power) and ask
Siri .. "Turn on Voice Over" ...

Re: home button question

2018-09-14 Thread Mary Otten
I’m sure that triple tap thing has to be set up just like it did with the home
button. So if it hasn’t been set up, it’s not gonna work. But you can tell Siri
to turn on voiceover.

Re: home button question

2018-09-14 Thread Greg Wocher
Hello,
To get back to the home screen you need to slide one finger up from the bottom
of the screen till you feel a vibration and then lift your finger. To get to
the app switcher you do the same thing as the home gesture but you keep sliding
up till you feel a second vibration.
