Subject: iOS 15 Broke My Weight scale

Hi All:
Well I”ve been pretty fortunate until now. I purchased the Beats blu scale some
years ago and although it has been long gone from the App Store, it has
continued to work fairly well. I decided yesterday to update to iOS 15, and
that’s the end of that for my poor scale app.
The scale works wonderfully of course, but absolutely no good to me.
So what are people currently using that works with iOS 15? I thought about
purchasing the Withings scale which has been around a long time and probably
still gets updates, but I’m open for comments on that or other options.
I do need to resolve this soon so all suggestions welcome. Accessibility is
more important than price, and the most important is that perhaps it’s still
getting actual updates and might be supported a while.

Re: iOS 15 Broke My Weight scale

2021-11-02 Thread Robin Frost

Hi,

Again I don't have this scale but do have their blood pressure monitor
and if it's any indication set up  was easy as can be and was
accessible. There was one point at which I had to briefly turn on screen
recognition to find a register button. But that was the only momentary
hurtle.

It connects to the phone via bluetooth. You mentioned wi-fi I didn't
read the documentation for the scale but thought it connected the same
way but perhaps I'm wrong.  If it does however you shouldn't have any
issues. When you first open the app it'll ask you which device you have,
walk you through setting up an account with them and then there's
usually a tutorial walking you through set up and first usage.

I hope that helps.

Take good care.
