OK thanks. What a nuisance as I don't dictate or type messages as use Siri all
the time except when I send imogees now and again without a message. Always
changes with updates aren't there.

Yes, they have eliminated the whoosh sound when Siri sends the message, but
it is still there if you type or dictate a text from the messages app.
I really miss it when dictating with Siri too.

airplane sound when sending a text. Apparently this has been discontinued if
you use Siri. Why, I liked it. Siri only now says message sent. tried
settings to get it back. No luck.
