As part of the update installation to your new phone you can get asked for
these backups to be used to set the phone up.

Before you start, back up your current iPhone so you will be restoring from as
recent a backup as possible. To do that, open Settings, then iCloud, then
Backup, and choose Back Up Now. Wait for the backup to complete before setting
up your new phone.

When setting up your iPhone se 2020, there will be an apps and data
screen that will come up with the option to restore from an iCloud
backup. At this point, choose restore from iCloud backup, and then
sign in to your iCloud account. After you sign in to your icloud
account with your apple ID
Having just received my new S E 2020, I want to use the most recent
backup of my iPHone 6 to install the apps on my new phone. However, I am
embarrassed to admit that I don't remember where to find those backups
