Go to the iBooks app on your device and be sure you are signed in. Choose
Store. At the bottom right is a button for Purchases. This lists all your
purchases and gives you the option to download them to the device. For
instance I have an iphone and an iPad and the list shows up for both. Then I
could pick which books I wanted on which device since my husband reads from the
iPad and I read from the phone but both have the same Apple ID.
It should not matter what is on the computer iTunes. I found it easier to
browse the books from my phone as iTunes is much more confusing for me.

Subject: itunes downloaded books problem
Hello list
It is the first time that I downloaded books via itunes on my laptop. What I
don't understand is that almost all the books were put in the apps section. For
example I assume the hbook 100 tips and tricks for ipad is a book but it
appears in the app section in iTunes. How do I make sure that these will be
available to read with iBooks when I transfer to my iPad?
Regards
Fanus
