Hi,
When you are watching a movie, if you double tap the screen this will
bring up the video controls. If you then flick through the controls on
the screen you will find a slider which lets you move backward or
forward through the movie.

inaccessible, and getting a title to play is more trouble than it's worth. The
iPad version of the app is even worse than the iPhone one, in my opinion.
