outlook for iOS query?

Hi all, am not sure if the issue I'm having is due to the latest update to outlook or the fact that I'm running a public beta of iOS11. Both were updated last week. If a message comes into outlook the icon says one new message. If I delete the message from the pc outlook icon still says 1
