I've been meaning to ask that too. I have several apps that leave
notifications and I can't find a way to clear them. I'd like a clear all
button or something.

If you mean where you touch the status bar and then swipe down with three
fingers to view all your notifications, a clear section button shows up just
before the Fox News items, and I just double tap it and then double tap the
confirmation prompt and they're gone.
