The work around I've found for all of Facebooks craziness, I use beta facebook.
I have been using beta facebook for almost 5 months & I have not experienced
any bugs that others have reported having.
beta.facebook.com I use the Facebook app rather than the website, for me it is
easier to use.
Just try to do one finger double tap on the status bar.
If that doesn't work, scroll down with three fingers to refresh the
page, then double tap on the status bar again.

I'm having the same issue.
I just checked, and though my screen recognition is turned on, it's not
selected to work with FaceBook.
I hope they fix this soon or someone finds a workaround.

Until 2 days ago I was able to click on a
