RE: Question about chargers and cables
I wouldn't count on Amazon removing anything. You'd hope that if they say they are MFI certified that they actually are. It says no import fees which means these probably come straight from China so you just take your chances/. I would say for 2 wall chargers and 2 wall plugs the $9.99 price tag is extremely cheap so buyer beware, you can definitely get things for cheaper than what Apple sells their own stuff for, but sometimes you also get what you pay for. I typically stick with well-known brands like Anker, Mophie, Belkin and so on, but then again I rarely plug my iPhone into a cable any more since I prefer wireless charging pads. -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of Gordon Sent: Friday, November 4, 2022 3:16 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Question about chargers and cables I'll include the link to what I'm wanting to buy so you can take a look for yourself if you'd like. I'm wondering if anyone out here has any experience with chargers and cables containing the MFI certification? The price on these is really good, but much cheaper than anything you would buy from Apple, so I just wanted to run it past you all before I buy them. I would think that Amazon would remove stuff from their site if it said it was MFI but wasn't. But I just wanted a second opinion anyway. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B3GQVKPN/ref=as_li_ss_tl?SubscriptionId=AKIAJO7E5OLQ67NVPFZA=7 -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list. Re: Question about chargers and cables
I have always normally used MFI certified cables just for the one simple reason that Apples cables are much more expensive. Now most of these cables are good, but can range in quality. So I tend to try to stay with a brand that has a good reputation. I currently use Anker brand cables. Hope this helps.
