Re: Amazon fire TV app

2015-07-09 Thread Lisa Soulor
We had Roku, too, Mary, and I found that app a bit easier to use, but
nothing I felt totally comfortable with. We have Apple TV which I use,
but it doesn't have Amazon Prime; but I get that on my Iphone and we
can stream it to the TV it just buffers a lot. I'm keeping the Fire
controller on my phone just in case they decide to update it with
accessibility.

Thank you for the information, Lisa. I guess I won't bother pursuing this

fun to try to access it. What I really want is the Roku. But that is also
 not accessible.

supposed to type in a four digit code to get the fire stick connected to
 the
app. But assuming that is actually possible, has anyone used the app and
 is
it accessible? I was hoping to be able to navigate using the app, since
 the
 TV itself is not accessible.

RE: Amazon fire TV app

2015-07-09 Thread Rick Alfaro
Hi Mary. I also have a Fire TB Stick that I ordered when they were $19 for
prime subscribers. Unfortunately, my experience was the same as yours with the
app on my Nexus 7 but I never did try it on my iPhone. It's totally unuseable
on Android. Hopefully your experience is better on IOS. I removed the stick
from my home theater setup but if you find it to be useable with IOS, I may
give it another chance. Keep us posted.

Best regards,

Rick Alfaro
