It stays put on Messages unless you start reading a message by swiping right to 
read all of it. As soon as I do that I have to first put the rotor back to 
Messages before I can go to the next message in the thread.

It drives me mad as well. It makes no sense because you already have such 
options as buttons at the bottom of the message. Guess we'll have to wait for 
an update to fix the bug.
