You should still be in the warrantee period I think, but call them.

I haven't had that problem, but they were really great to work with when I was
checking it out for my work.

Hi guys, I bought a Rainbow II about two months ago from Amazon. I love it and
used it about every day. But about 3 weeks ago, the voice started staggering,
stumbling and sputtering. I changed the batteries, but it remained the same.
The other it just quite altogether.

Has anyone ran across this issue?
I guess I'll have to go into my Amazon account and contact the seller, to see
if they might send me another one?

Anyone have any other suggestions, or come across this problem?

So, Sandy, not only are you a voyeur, but a masochist too, grin.
Sorry about not doing the Rainbow II podcast. I've been rather busy at work
and honestly just forgot.
Also, and this is where my Father's favorite saying comes in, "A poor excuse is
better than none," I don't have much items with LED indicators to do a good
sampling.

Now that you have reminded me, I will ask around at work and see what I can
come up with.

Feel free to nag me again in a couple of weeks.

Later,
Richard

Richard,
Quite a long time ago, you offered to do a podcast demonstrating the rainbow
two. especially with regard to its recognising the colour and or number of
LEDs. now, I heard your wonderful podcast the other day on the C a I app. I
hope I am remembering the topic right. anyway, now it is time to step up to the
mark and do the same for the rainbow too. we don't have it over here, in

RE: What Color Identification Apps Are There for IOS10?

2017-08-08 Thread 'Martin Maidment' via VIPhone
Hi

It's a shame we can't buy the Rainbow II in the U.K.

Cheers
Martin

TapTapSee does as good a job as any of them.
Plus, it tries to say what the pattern is.
Another one to look at I think is called inspector. But, color identification
with the iPhone camera is a good guess at best since it depends a lot on
lighting and won't likely be as good as a stand-alone device for color
identification like the Rainbow II.
