When the video loads and you choose to like it, go to the name of the video and
swipe up or down. Like is in that setting. It's just like you would do on
Facebook to a status.

There may be another way, but you can go into settings, notifications
and turn off notifications for the youtube app.
That will turn off all youtube notifications. I don't think there is a
way to turn them off for just a single channel.
