Turn VoiceOver on by pressing the on/off button (right side of phone) 3 times quickly. I learned all that I needed to learn from the salespeople at the Apple store. Jonathan Mosen's latest IOS without the Eyye e-book is also helpful. Re: iPhone XR and voice over
Hi John, Assuming you have a Wi-Fi connection, you can tell Siri to turn voiceover on. You triple click the side button that is to say the power button to turn it on if that has been set up, just like triple click home. As for tutorials, I don’t know about that. But there’s probably something on Apple viz. The replacement for the home button involves certain jesters either starting at the bottom of the device or the top of the device. For instance, you start with your finger at the very bottom of the device and move up. You will feel a tap and also hear a sound. Keep moving up and you’ll get a second one. Keep moving up and you’ll get a third one. Moving up from the bottom to get the three taps opens the app switcher. Moving up from the bottom to get the two taps will take you out of an app and back to your home screen. Sent from my iPhone > On Mar 9, 2019, at 2:35 PM, John J.
