Re: Buying Kindle books
Hello, You search for and buy Kindle books from your Amazon account. You can do this using Safari on your iphone or ipad. Once purchased, you open the Kindle app on your iphone or ipad and it will automatically download the purchased books for you. Then, you can enjoy reading. One comment - I sometimes find that if I buy several Kindle books in the same online session, opening the Kindle app may not have downloaded all of them. You can trigger the downloads from within the Kindle app by selecting the "all" button rather than the "downloaded" button. This will generate a book list of all of your books. Their download status is listed with each book. Double tap on one that says "not downloaded" and the app will download it. This also works on books you bought earlier, read, and then removed from the Kindle app. This assumes of course that you have an active internet connection via cell or wifi. Kim, I do not think you can buy using your iPhone or iPad. However it is worth trying to log on to your amazon account using safari or firefox if you have firefox on your iPad instead of using the amazon app. Sent from my iPhone > On Nov 8, 2020, at 3:09 PM, 'Kimberly Samco' via VIPhone > wrote: > > Thanks. Re: Buying Kindle books
Thanks. I only have my work pc and don’t use it for these sorts of things. On my phone and in the Amazon app, when I choose Kindle it tells me that I cannot buy it from this app. I remember this happened before but I can’t remember what I did. Re: Buying Kindle books
I always buy my kindle books by logging onto my Amazon account using my PC. Once logged on, i search for my book and then select the kindle edition.
