I would probably use the Kindle app if you did not have to jump through so many
hoops. I will just stick to BARD.

Hi,

Can someone please remind me how to buy Kindle books? I don’t see a way to do
it from the Kindle app and the Amazon app says I can’t do it from there.
I’ve done it before but it’s been a long time and I don’t remember how I did it.

Thanks!

Hi Kimberly, i think you can call Amazon.com’s disability support number and
ask them to put the Kindle books in your shopping cart. Then, go to your
cart using the Amazon Iphone app and purchase the books. Once purchased, i
think they will appear in your Kindle library

Re: Buying Kindle books

2020-11-08 Thread Dave Clement
Hello,

You search for and buy Kindle books from your Amazon account. You can do this
using Safari on your iphone or ipad. Once purchased, you open the Kindle app on
your iphone or ipad and it will automatically download the purchased books for
you. Then, you can enjoy reading.

One comment - I sometimes find that if I buy several Kindle books in the same
online session, opening the Kindle app may not have downloaded all of them. You
can trigger the downloads from within the Kindle app by selecting the "all"
button rather than the "downloaded" button. This will generate a book list of
all of your books. Their download status is listed with each book. Double tap
on one that says "not downloaded" and the app will download it. This also works
on books you bought earlier, read, and then removed from the Kindle app. This
assumes of course that you have an active internet connection via cell or wifi.

Happy reading,
Dave Clement

 Hi,

Can someone please remind me how to buy Kindle books? I don’t see a way

there. I’ve done it before but it’s been a long time and I don’t remember
 how I did it.

Re: Buying Kindle books

2020-11-08 Thread Cris Ali
Kim, I do not think you can buy using your iPhone or iPad. However it is worth
trying to log on to your amazon account using safari or firefox if you have
firefox on your iPad instead of using the amazon app.

Re: Buying Kindle books

2020-11-08 Thread 'Kimberly Samco' via VIPhone
Thanks. I only have my work pc and don’t use it for these sorts of things.

On my phone and in the Amazon app, when I choose Kindle it tells me that I
cannot buy it from this app. I remember this happened before but I can’t
remember what I did.
