Put the Apple tv remote on direct touch. As for the errors, double tap home button. Switch to landmarks, find directv now, and cthen close the app. Reopen it. All should be good. If you are getting the latest Genie .. then all should be good...some of the installers are...some aren’t ...I would make sure when ordering it that you tell them you need the text to speech ability ...
