Now my iPhone says 7.1. I have less than 2GB of free space on my phone. How
much space do I need?

Re: My iPhone 4 still says IOS6 downloaded Apple Inc

2014-03-19 Thread Christopher J Chaltain
I needed 1.9G to download and install 7.1. If 7.1 is already downloaded,
you probably need less space than that. You can check just by going into
Settings - General - Software Updates. If you don't have enough space,
you'll see that message. Otherwise, you'll have a install button available.

Christopher,

I have a Download and Install button at the bottom of the screen. So, I guess
I can go for it. I'm not going to do that right now. Just interested to know.

I think you're right. You or the phone must have downloaded 7.06 and
just haven't installed it yet. So you would need to install that update
then update to 7.1.
