RE: Recent Calls List with Unexpected Behavior
I think seeing the business hours of a hotel, restaurant or other business, useful buttons to get directions and so on would be considered useful by most people. It certainly can't d considered spam by any means, spam is defined as follows: irrelevant or inappropriate messages sent on the Internet to a large number of recipients. But yes, if the number is of a public place like a hotel, restaurant etc. the "More Info" screen will give you buttons for directions, reviews from Trip Advisor, opening hours and so on. You can always touch the bottom left of the screen if you don't want to go through the available information, touch the "Favourites" tab and then swipe back once to "Report an Issue", a second time to "Add to existing contact" and once more to "Create a new contact". Alternatively, use the often forgotten yet very useful item chooser. You get it with a 2-finger triple tap and it brings up an alphabetical list of all buttons, links and other elements on the screen. You even have a search field and a table index to get to where you want to be. If you touch the screen about in the middle chances are you hit the "Call, Contact or Create New Contact, if you like swiping just swipe right to the table index, then down to the letter "C" and right 2 or 3 times to "Create New Contact". I had called a hotel, so, I wanted to add it to my contacts. I went into recent calls, tapped the More Info button expecting the contacts screen to open. Wow! Was I surprised to find all kinds of reviews, maps, other info about the hotel, and finally, the Create new Contact. I had never had this happen before, it was a bit jarring, but not unpleasant, just unexpected. Is this new? -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
