Re: setting newsfeeds in Facebook to show differently

2018-04-09 Thread Donna
If you are following a news outlet page ex ABC, CNn, MSNBC etc. Open the
Facebook app. Tap on Navigation in lower right. Tap on Top Shortcuts. Swipe
down to most recent. You can view the most recent news articles posted, view
the most recent post of friends & most recent post made to groups & pages that
you follow. Oh & lets not forget all the wonderful ads from products that your
friends have liked.

I appreciate these instructions. However, I keep hearing that folks can read
the news via Facebook. I’ve never seen the news at all even though I have
followed several news outlets. Any clues are appreciated.

Re: setting newsfeeds in Facebook to show differently

2018-04-09 Thread Donna
Hi

Hopefully, your version of the Facebook is the same as the one that I have.
Facebook sometimes seems to add certain features to the Facebook app randomly.
With that said..Here goes my instructions..
1.Open the Facebook app
2.Tap on Navigation in the lower right
3.From top swiping to the bottom I have Tabs which open up to show a list of
items. The tabs are *Top Shortcuts *All Shortcuts *Help & Support *Settings &
Privacy *Log-Out. Open Settings & Privacy.
4.Swiping from top to bottom you should find tabs *Account Settings *Privacy
Settings *Newsfeed Settings. Open Newsfeed Settings. Select the pages, people
that you want to see first.
Keep in mind; if you have chosen to see *John Doe* first & someone or himself
comments on his post from several hours ago, this post will be shown as see
first.

Hope this helps.
