first, in your book, double tap on the controls option at the top of the screen
and make sure "stop at end of document is selected.
Then, close that screen, and double tap on Audio settings at the top, double
tap on advanced audio and make sure rewind to beginning of sentence is on.
Then, when the book is open, there is a button left of the play button called,
Headings, Highlights, and bookmarks.
If the book is from Bookshare, or a properly marked up eBook, when you double
tap that button, it will default to headings, and you will have a list of all
the sectionns, chapters, however it is organized, and double tapping on the one
you want will start the reading there.
You do not need bookmarks unless you just want to mark a specific spot.
