Go to settings, Voice Store.
Along the bottom of the screen are for tabs. From left to right they are:
Popular, Latest, iOS Built-in, and Maker.
Double tap on iOS Built-in and you will be able to choose, based on your
language, which iOS voice, or voices you want available.
You will find under English that you have all of them there. You will hear
something like, British English dimmed, flick right and you will find a More
Info button, flick right once more and you will find an Enable button. Double
tap Enable, and the British voice will now be selectable in your Voice Settings
so you could listen to an entire book using the iOS voice.
The more info button allows adjustment of the tone and volume of the voice.
