I am late to this thread, but I am having this issue and I have an iPhone 6. It is not a plus, so I don’t think it is an issue with larger phones. If I turn VO off and then on again, it corrects itself, but whenever I first plug my EarPods into the jack, VO comes out of only the left ear. This is constant. Re: VO issue while using wired earphones
Hi! As I said, I don't have these issues on my 6S Plus and since here is 1400 of us here I believe somebody would write about this already if this would be a global issue. I asume this is just an individual glitch. Try with some other headset, try to reboot the phone, reboot Voice Over... I'll investigate those new features later and get back if I find something. Meanwhile, take a look on your rotor and see if there are some new features. Audio output was present in iOS 9 after bluetooth headset was connected so maybe there is something now causing this. Re: VO issue while using wired earphones
That's odd. Is this issue only effecting the larger, plus phones? I'm running iOS 10 on a 128-GB iPhone 6S, and haven't ever had this problem. Re: VO issue while using wired earphones
I only have used the wired Apple earpods, but so far, VoiceOver is being sent to both earpods. I didn't even know there was a setting to send VoiceOver to one channel only, I will go look for it. Denise, Try turning VoiceOver off and then back on and see if this corrects the issue so you get VO out of both ears. This is what I believe others have posted about this problem.
