Try something more simple first, like WGLspheres
(http://www.virtualgl.org/wglspheres.zip). WGLspheres will print out
the OpenGL renderer, which should say "Chromium" if the 3D Guest
Additions are working properly.

I want to employ virtualgl on Windows. The supported way to do that is to
have Windows as a guest OS within virtualbox. Linux is my host OS.
However, I have not yet managed to use 3d applications on Virtualbox. Does
anyone have any tips for this? Details below:
