I've just installed VNC 3.3.7 on a NT 4 server and I access it from a
Win2K workstation over a GBit LAN connection.
When I look at the 'VNC Connection Info', it tells me that the line speed
estimate is 3776 kbit/s. And I can believe it 'cos it's awfully slow.
Any ideas what it could be ?
From the client, using the latest Beta version, DoubleClick doesn't open
folders or programs. When I went into the Mouse settings and tested the
DoubleClick there, it DID seem to work. The server is running on a Win2K Pro
machine.

Hi guys,
Firstly appologies for spamming the list - especially to the unix admins
who don't have any need for VNC remote install scripts.
I've recently updated Fastpush to include support for VNC beta 4. It will
handle installation/removal of VNC 3.3.3 as well as the new system.

To side-step your question, I don't think VNC is the right tool for this
job. Look into something like psshutdown[1]. Create a batch file to run
it for each pc name with the option to lock it and you are set.
Hi,

You can simply run multiple viewers simultaneously to control multiple
servers at once.

I'm a newbie to winVNC and a musician, I want to use winVNC to control a
shuttle XPC (running my audio software) from an inexpensive laptop
(actually free). I would use this for my live music rig which would allow
me to have the power of a desktop machine in the XPC but not have to bring
