I'm curious to know why I'm getting this message (unable to connect to host: Connection refused (10061)) from my VNC client. I seem to get it the day after I disconnect. Conversely, I don't get it after rebooting the remote machine, until the next day. Both machines are Windows 2000, and using

Dave, If you are using VNC Enterprise Edition, you can untick the Capture alpha blended windows option under the Hooks tab in the Server settings in order to avoid the cursor flickering. This option will also be available in the VNC Free Edition 4.1 release. Cheers, Wez @ RealVNC Ltd.
