Double Buffering or sync to vblank

Hi, we are using RealVNC on a slow embedded PC. Unfortunately screen updates are sometimes so slow that tearing is very visible. Has anybody implemented double buffering or maybe wait for vblank before screen updates? The latter one seems easy enough to try, but I have no idea how to wait for

There is not enough information in your email. The error indicates that computer ether unreachable or vnc server is not running. One simple way would be to do reverse vnc connection: On your machine run listening viewer. Make sure to open all needed ports. Tell your sister to run vnc server and
