Slow VNC startup for Solaris

I recently installed the 4.1.2 server on Sun Solaris ,to be started via inetd etc. It *does* work, but startup speed is very slow compared to Linux and windows. It opens a window with a basic gray background, after about 10 seconds the background turns black, then it sits for over a minute. Then

XFree86-4.6 and realvnc 4.1.2

I'd like to compile realvnc 4.1.2 for Linux on a AMD x86_64 machine. XFree86-4.3 doesn't know this machine. 4.6 does, but realvnc doesn't. Has anyone compiled realvnc for XFree86-4.6 yet? Any tips/source changes etc you can share? Thanks! tom ___
