With your help and some more determination I was able to get this comp working like I want using Real Vnc on the windows end and KRFB on the Linux comp. Much thanks for the advice! Ron _ Thank You Corne, for the response.

Thank You Corne, for the response. Terminal Server client works great for working from the Ubuntu comp to my XP Pro comp. What I am wanting though, is the opposite, to access the Ubuntu comp from XP pro and take control of that Ubuntu machine, so Ubuntu needs to be the server and XP the remote

Hi list, I use the free edition on my home network and am familiar with installing and using in Windows. I have a Ubuntu machine that I would like to use vnc with in the same way. Is this possible? I am very new to Linux / Ubuntu. I tried to install without success, and wondering at this
