The following command might show you the libraries that .../intellinux/bin/acroread expects. ldd /opt/Adobe/Reader9/Reader/intellinux/bin/acroread You could also edit .../Reader9/bin/acroread on line 22 to run .../intellinux/bin/acroread via strace. That might give you some useful info. As
