I am trying to build a package that requires pcre.h.
What is the mechanism on void linux to get headers of the library
packages. For example, on some systems there is a -dev package for the
libraries which provides the headers. Looking for equivalent of that on
void.

/bin/acroread: not found
/opt/Adobe/Reader9/Reader/intellinux/bin/acroread is actually present.
I think, this might have something to do with running 32-bit executables.
Any advice on how to go about this?

the installed version is newer and does not match the 'not found' version.
