I.e. dark energy (at least it is in Jack's model) stabilizes the electron. No, it's not the dark energy it's the dark matter that stabilizes the electron. In my theory dark energy = virtual bosons dark matter = virtual fermion-antifermion pairs ZPE of virtual bosons is positive, w = -1 ZPE of virtual fermion-antifermion pairs is negative, w = -1 source term in Einstein's GR is (energy density)(1 + 3w) w = 0 in Newton's gravity theory It's the new Einstein term 3w(energy density) that is not in Newton's theory that does MY TRICK! The interior of the electron's hollow shell has more virtual electron-positron plasma density than virtual photon density in this Bohm hidden variable model. This has NOTHING WHATEVER TO DO WITH HAL'S QED CASIMIR FORCE, WHICH IS A QUALITATIVELY DIFFERENT MECHANISM -ALSO THERE OF COURSE! IMPORTANT NOT TO GARBLE THE TWO VERY DIFFERENT PHYSICAL MECHANISMS. One is pure gravity, the other is pure electromagnetic, both depend on quantum vacuum fluctuations, but with very different equations. IT MAY VERY WELL BE SO THAT WE NEED HAL'S MECHANISM OUTSIDE THE SINGLE ELECTRON SHELLS TO MAKE THE CHARGE CLUSTERS. Yes, I see the two approaches as related. They are related because 1) Hal's is a purely EM interaction ZPE effect. 2) Mine is a purely gravitational interaction ZPE effect. Both effects exist simultaneously.
